That is an excellent article, and it shows that the world is a better place without Saddam Hussein running anything but his own show trial.

We as Americans (and coalition partners!) need to realize it's one thing to complain about liberating the Iraqis and the methods used and the rationale for war and blah blah. It's another thing to be the liberated.

I would have liked to hear some of your own words about this topic, not just a click-through-and-comment.

Wow, I was very impressed by the writer. Admitting that he judged others wrong before finding the truth is not something you see everyday.

I believe everyone has the right to believe in what they want, but it would be nice if they did their homework before jumping to conclusions. Kinda like here in Puerto Rico, where people are expected to be of a certain party simply because their parents and grand-parents were of that party.

Man, some of the comments are almost as insightful and well written as the original blog entry.

How inspiring when a lefty kook lib pulls his head out of his ass

and

Q: What if we go and the WMD's aren't there?
A: Then all we've done is free the country from a tyrant.

Q: What if we don't go and the WMD's are there?
A: Then America is screwed, and we look like "total fucking morons.

Were just two of the more thought provoking ones.

This should be required reading for all voters in the United States. We take voting for granted to the point where if there is a long line, a little rain, or a re-run on TV on voting day, we feel we have a valid excuse.

The last two elections have been whine fests. People complained about all sorts of inconveniences where voting was concerned. King Doyle (Gov. of Wisconsin) echoes the lame escuses everytime he vetoes more attempts at shutting down illegal voting in this state. He should have to read this to.

Thank you Andrew, for bringing it here to JU!
