The terrible reality of war and how it relates to a possible peace

Israeli air strikes kill Palestinian children.

And Palestinian terror attacks kill Jewish children. But even Palestinian propaganda cannot ignore the fact that while Palestinian terrorists specifically target Jewish children, Israel's army kills Paestinian civilians while targeting Palestinian terrorists.

It is an unfortunate side effect that civilians die in a war. And it is, for the Palestinian cause, a fortune side effect that sometimes a terror attack launched against civilians makes the other side give in a bit.

Israel says that the war against the Palestinians will stop when there are no more Palestinian terrorists to target. Without Palestinian terrorism Israel won't have an excuse to kill Palestinian civilians.

And similarly the war against the Jews will stop when there are no more Jewish kids to slaughter.

Either situation can bring peace. Which situation does the world want?

Without Palestinian terrorism Israel won't have an excuse to kill Palestinian civilians.

So terror bombing of school busses are an "excuse" to kill Palestinian civilians. Get a life.

collateral damage {also known as dead civilians } are part of war, wrong on both sides.\

now Israelis target terrorist that hide in schools hoping to cause an international incident, Palestinians blow up civilians and children on PURPOSE.
Of course being a JEW colors my perception, but I would have no trouble if they made PEACE.

STOP THE KILLING.

Do the Israeli people cheer and march in support of Israel blowing up Palestinian children? Face it, the "Palestinian problem" has been a thorn in Israel's side for 50 years. I wonder if the Israelis thought killing Palestinians was the solution, would there be any Palestinians left after 50 years?

On the other hand, for 50 years people have been chanting "Death to Israel" in Palestinian streets. How often do you see Israelis chanting "Death to Palestinians". I don't think anyone can look at the situation and see any kind of true balace of give and take.

Collateral damage is a price of war.  The intent is what is key here, and like the terrorists in Iraq, and Al Qaeda, some are intent on killing civilians (collateral).  Others at removing the murderers.  Both will kill civilians, but one at least tries to eliminate the source of the problem, while the other just glories in the death of anyone.
