Care to see a prime example of lefty minds exploding from confusion?

I like this comment most:

I dunno what this Administration is thinking about the Middle East. Clinton seems to be running around, making no new friends, and building no personal gravitas in the region. Wherever she goes, a few days later, Mike Mullen or some other high ranking U.S. military leader is sucked in, to confirm that she's been there, and that she wasn't just an errant American tourist.

But as an American Secretary of State, serving U.S. interests in a troubled region, she's a visible, if not principal, constant reminder of how little this Administration is capable of influence in this strategically important region. For the Iraqis in Baghdad tonight, who believed this Administration's promises about security during American withdrawal, I have great sympathy, as I do for Afghanistan's Karzai.

Tonight, in Yemen and Iraq and Afghanistan, it's only slightly more dangerous to be an enemy of the U.S., than a friend of ours...

He is right. Obama's new foreign policy has been a disaster. Trusted allies have been insulted. Enemies perceive weakness. And those who formerly relied on the US are beginning to look for new friends on the other side.

And ironically Obama is perceoved as a "cowboy" by the Iranian regime who more openly mock him than they dared Bush. With Bush you had to be careful. You never knew when that idiot would invade you.

Hat tip: Steven Den Beste (who, I am sure, does NOT want to receive feedback!)

There is value in not telegraphing your every whim.

But what is more surprising is that these leftist exploded mind numbnuts took this long to realize the disaster.

It was painfully obvious from day one that this Administrations idea of improving our image world wide was a joke. Not only have we angered those who were already on our side, but we can now see that those who, while allies, were willing to compromise with us now see us as weak and while no longer compromise but instead expect us to back down first. Add those who feared us now constantly defy and mock us and this Administration has definitely brought change to how the rest of the world percieves us. We are seen as weak and too willing to bow down to everyone elses wishes in order to be part of the group. Kinda sounds less like being a jock who is already cool and more like being the nerd who wants to be cool. And we all know what happens to the nerd.

Is it just me or did Condi Rice seem much more effective? Didn't people seem to listen more to what she had to say?

Condi?  That is like saying is Penicillin more effective than mustard root at curing infection!  There was never any doubt of that.  The only question was whether this regime could actually walk and chew gum.  That has been answered now.

I miss her. She was in front of the camera way more than GW. Our current ego maniac seems to be on the tube yakking every other day, lucky (or unlucky) if I see Hillary once a month and then it's something goofy (remember the reset button).
