A Leauki's Writings

Fatah (Mahmoud Abbas' movement in the PLO) about peace:

When I joined the Fatah movement, the oath we took was to liberate Palestine from the River to the Sea. Why should this be changed?

[...]

I am always optimistic. I can assure you that within a few years, you will see the beginning of the end of the Jewish state in Palestine. I swear that it will be driven out of the land of Palestine, and they will go to hell. Not into the sea. They would defile the sea if they entered it. Allah willing, they will go to hell.

Note the complete absense of anti-Semitism, especially with regards to Jews defiling the sea if they entered it.

Now it's up to Israel to return to peace negotiations and see if a compromise can be found. Perhaps Fatah will be happy with driving only half the Jews into the (then defiled) sea?

Fatah are, of course, "moderates". Lieberman, the Israeli foreign minister is a "right-wing extremist".

What would the correct terms be if Fatah advocated Lieberman's positiojns (with Jews and Arabs reversed) and Lieberman advocated driving (all Palestinian) Arabs into the sea?

Israel is supposed to negotiate with a "peace partner" who believes that Israel will be destroyed within just a few years. Can anyone see an issue with that?
