Entire article in bold with my comments in non-bold:

A West Bank military tribunal has sentenced a member of the Palestinian security services to death for sharing information with Israel.

Note that the Oslo peace treaty demands that "information" is shared with Israel about terror attacks. Apparently the Palestinian Authority has laws against upholding peace treaties.

The head of the Palestinian court, Ahmed Abu Dayyeh, says the information the man provided to Israel led to the arrest of several Palestinians.

That wouldn't happen if fewer terrorists were "Palestinian".

Abu Dayyeh said Wednesday that the 41-year-old officer was recruited as an informer in 1992 and is to be executed by firing squad. The sentence still awaits approval by President Mahmoud Abbas, who routinely declines to do so. The court has refused to release the officer's name.

I am assuming that since Arafat's death we have really seen fewer executions for upholding peace treaties.

The case came at a time of increasing coordination between Israel and Abbas' security forces. Abbas' rival, the Islamic militant Hamas, has accused Abbas of collaborating with Israel.

Apparently Hamas are SHOCKED that Abbas would even try to comply with a treaty. The Oslo treaty, of course, demands increased coordination between Israel and Abbas' security forces.
