A Leauki's Writings

Since the 1970s the US have been standing 100% behind Israel. Also since then Israel was not involved in major wars any more. It is clear that this strategy has been a total failure and must be changed. Or so many liberals claim.

Peace can only come, they say, when the US doesn't back Israel 100% but takes a more nuanced position.

Let's look at this idea for a moment.

What do we know about middle-eastern nations the US didn't support 100%. The only nation at war with the Arabs apart from Israel that the US have supported at all were the Kurds. And whenever the US withdrew their support, the Kurds were slaughtered by the Arabs. Many Kurds today still remember fleeing into the mountains whenever Saddam decided to attack Kurdish cities.

On the other hand, think of a world in which the US would support not only Israel but also other non-Arab nations in the middle east 100%.

Would we have a genocide in Darfur if the US had supported the Fur and Massalith 100%?

Would we have slavery and a civil war in southern Sudan if the US had supported the Dinka and other peoples 100%?

Would there have been a Saddam Hussein if the US had supported Kurdistan (and Iran before 1979) 100%?

Would the Imazighen be second-class citizens in their native home (of northern Africa) if the US stood 100% behind them?

Would Syrian and Iraqi Christians (Arameans and Assyrians) be slaughtered by Arab Muslims if the US stood 100% behind the Christians?

For some reason, even though a more nuanced position seems to be the obvious solution to many liberals, the track record of less than 100% is rather tragic: wars and more wars, gas attacks, discrimination of minorities (usually Christians), terrorism, genocide.

At the same time the track record of 100% support brought peace treaties with Egypt and Jordan and an end to terrible wars.

So why should the US take a more nuanced position when so many lives are at stake? Why is the liberal position more important than lives?

Instead of taking a more nuanced position on the Israeli-Arab conflict, the smallest in the region, perhaps the US should take a less nuanced position on the Sudanese conflict. 100% US support for the Africans in Sudan might not bring favour with the Arabs or the western media. But it might just end a genocide and help abolish slavery.

You would have loved to listen to my Jewish bible teacher this morning Leauki.  His whole hour and a half was about Israel and with a heavy heart he gave us what he said was truth...the hard truth that nobody really wants.

He mentioned Benjamin Netanyahu's speech to the UN and how that speech should have been broadcast on every single TV station in the world.  Of course we know that won't happen.  Instead it was hardly mentioned.  No nation in history has done what Israel has done in time of war.  No nation in history went to great lengths to protect civilians like Israel did went they went into Gaza.  They dropped leaflets, made calls and did what no nation has ever done in the history of the world and yet the UN still has the gall to condemn Israel.

Nobody sticks up for Israel.  The world is a farce.  The Nations will put pressure on Iran but they don't care.   The ruler in Iran is a religious fanatic, a crazy man, and he will go into Israel as soon as they possibly can get that A-Bomb.  The U.S., France, Germany and Great Britian can do nothing.

If the Lord himself gave a UN address they would not have listened.  The Nations of the World know what Netanyahu said was truth but truth has nothing to do with it.

My guess is that Israel will go into Iran to stop them and thus start another war.  The nations of the world will blame Israel because they don't have the guts to defend her.  When Israel goes after Iran in defense, the nations will go after Israel big time.

When this happens, (as prophecy dictates) 2/3 of the Jews will die, the attacking enemies will be decimated.  God will devestate them.

We are living in a most momentous perioud of human history and most people don't have a vague idea what's going on.  We are living in critical days.

"The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel says the Lord, which stretches forth the heavens and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him.  Behold I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.  And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, through all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.  In that day, says the Lord I will smite every horse (stands for power) with astonishment and his rider with madness; and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.  .......and it shall come to pass in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem."  Zechariah 12

The cup of trembling speaks of intoxication.  The nations will be so intoxicated with the thought of, once again, destroying Israel for good they will not be making sane decisions.  They will lost their balance.  Their decisions will not be the right ones.  They will be mad.  Sounds like today, doesn't it?  Look at the leader of Libya & Iran for starters...pretty mad I'd say.  Crazy men.

If I were able to advise Obama, the UN, Iran, Muslim Nations, NATO, Russia and China I would tell them not to mess with Jerusalem.

But they will not listen.
