I keep wondering why Israel never gets away with that sort of thing.

One reason is, of course, that Israel is not shooting at or imprisoning protesters, only terrorists.

It is also interesting to note that the western left have been left behind by history happening. Obama is trying to find a crompromise between America and an Iranian regime that Iranians reject. And the left who enthuastically supported Hizbullah's rocket attacks against the University of Haifa are now trying to explain why Hizbullah's attacks now against the dorms of the University of Tehran are still "resistance" against imperialism.

While the left are trying to move the west to compromise with fanatical regimes, protesters in Iran are burning Russian flags.

It should be interesting if, in a few weeks, without Obama's doing, the regime Obama wanted to talk with is replaced. Is the "change" happening without Obama? Will we end up with a freeer world while Obama was trying to make arangements to live with the old world?

It was George Bush's dream to replace the dictatorships of the world with democracies, and it was Barack Obama's dream to talk to the dictatorships and find compromise. What will happen if no dictatorships are left?

Nokia and Siemens were good enough to equip Iran's state-owned telecom company with technology to intercept Internet communications of Irananians:

Still waiting for the international conference to help the victims of the Iranian regime's deadly crackdown on protesters...

If only Iran's government were Jewish! The world would unite behind the protesters much faster.
