A Leauki's Writings

What is your position regarding Jews and Arabs living in Jerusalem?

1. Jews and Arabs should be allowed to buy or build houses in all of Jerusalem.

2. Only Jews should be allowed to buy or build houses in all of Jerusalem.

3. Only Arabs should be allowed to buy or build houses in all of Jerusalem.

Just curious.

Regarding your comment on another blog in which you asked me to disprove your thesis...

I don't remember which thesis that was but go ahead and post it here plus your response. I won't delete it. If it was the thing about the Assyrian Church (my "thesis" which I put up merely as an example, I do not really believe it), I would like to see the answer.

I did. However that was deleted....and subsequently I posted a comment notifying you that I had responded, that too was deleted.

I still remember a certain character who was badmouthing Islam here on JU one or two years ago. Inevitably after some discussion the entire blog entry plus all discussions would be deleted.

But in this case here I assume your posts fell victim to the database issue at JU (as have some of mine, possibly my reply to your comments as well) or were deleted because you went too far off-topic.

Amen!  I've been wondering what Leauki sees in Hillary.  She is NO fan of Israel which puzzles me that Leauki would be defending her so.

It takes me a long time to change my view on people I like.

I think Hillary profits from being married to Bill. But when she gave up her fight against Obama she lost a lot of my respect. I was hoping that she would continue to stand for what she claimed was right. Instead she gave up.

Whatever it is, clearly you give her a lot more leeway than you do anyone else, including some arabs that just talk stupid, but at least do not act upon it.

Like who?

Anyway, as I said, it takes a long time to to lose my favour. Hillary clearly profits from things Bill has done.

But speaking of the US government being for or against Israel... we have all heard that the "international community" demands from Israel not to build houses in annexed or occupied territory (despite the fact that the Oslo Treaty allows such construction).

But what are the demands for the PLO? Is there anything the PLO have to do and have they done it?

Apparently not breaking the previous treaty is not a demand the "international community" has made because otherwise the second Intifadah would be a problem for the negotiations, no?

It is not me she is talking about. I am not the "Protestant" she refers to in her article on deletions.
(I am not a Protestant.)

Oh, wow, so I really look like a stupid jerk now, eh?  Haha...

No, you don't.

Thanks for speaking up!

How about Imam Johari Abdul-Malik?  just one of the latest.  But then I see several posts of yours that drip with sarcasm about people doing a lot less than Hillary.  I am not saying you cannot like Hillary.  But I do find it strange.

I do agree with your last statement.  Hillary profiting.  She sure did from the blue dress, but that was all calculated.  Anyone who watched her ascend to the whitehouse knew exactly what her plans post 2k were going to be.  And she played them as well as a bad poker player does a flush.

I think that people who grew up being told to read the Quran should have a more positive opinion about Israel (5:20, 17:101-104) and Jews (2:62) and be more cautious about Arab claims of superiority over other peoples (9:97).

But anyone who rejects those teachings even though told about their importance, what am I supposed to think of such a person? He'd be a traitor to G-d and his own religion.

With Hillary I think it is stupdity and necessity that make her make such demands. But an _imam_ should know better.

Heck, if all negotiations started with a reading of the parts of the Quran that cover the subject, we wouldn't have a conflict.

(Not that I agree with the Quran's summary of these things. I just think it would be a good starting point.)

Your memory serves you well. I said: Claim what you will, but there is not one Protestant believer who has Divine authority “to bind and loose”........to which you issued the challenge....

Exactly. That authority lies with the Assyrian Church of the East alone. Now, disprove my thesis.

Glad to know that you don't really believe it.

Thank you for offering me to post my answer here. I won't do that because it's off your topic.

So, instead check out my answer by going to that link I provided above. I think you'll find it interesting given that the precedent for the transfer of authority to bind and loose from Christ directly to St.Peter and later to the Apostles is found in part in Is. 22:22. It goes to giving the keys of the house.

You know, with supporters like you, Hillary does not need  many detractors.

I think that may have been her problem.

Oh, wow, so I really look like a stupid jerk now, eh? Haha...

no I actually thought you were quite discerning and deserve a cookie for what you said.  You just had no idea.  I'm the Protestant she's talking about.  I deleted her on my site regarding Garage Sales.  And you are EXACTLY right in what you said.  If she wants to proselytize her RCC on her site.  Fine.  That's what she should do.

I have warned her on numerous blogs of mine to stop proselytizing her RCC on my site but she won't listen to me.    I've let her (more times than I can count) go way off topic on my blogs before I get to the point where I do this.

I think the Israelis should be able to build in their country whereever they want.  They are a sovreign nation.  I love Israel and I am sick and tired of everyone jumping on them.  It amazes me the arrogance of the rest of the world when it comes to this tiny tiny nation.  Everytime they give up land for peace, what ends up happening is terrorist organizations move into the land and begin using the closer proximity to launch rockets in to Israeli cities.  After they provoke the citizens to fight for survival, the cowardly terrorists hide in civilian neighborhoods,, mosques and schools.  Such an adversary is relentless and considers women and children as collateral damage.

on Mar 22, 2010

now what Leauki?  What do you think of the latest news?

on Mar 22, 2010

Kathy,

Thank you! The Israeli prime minister wouldn't come to the US and demand that Americans stop building bouses in Detroit just because some terrorist group says they won't make peace with the US if they continue to build houses.

I think it is time to demand things from the terrorists, if they really want a peace treaty as so many believe for no good reason.

KFC,

Don't know the current news. Was busy with Iraqi elections and some other business. I'll see if I can find what you are talking about before tomorrow.

That depends: Are you using the term 'Jews' in the ( A ) ethnic/citizenry (i.e. Jew == Israeli citizen) sense or the ( B ) religious sense? If ( A ) then 2 elsif ( B ) then 1. I believe Israel should have the right to set their own rights and rules for their citizens vs. non-citizens just as every other nation does.
